Owl Pellet Day

Today the kids dissected owl pellets as part of the skeletal system unit in our science curriculum. Imagine their delight as they found skulls (see below), ribs, teeth and various other parts of the skeletal systems of an owl's prey. Speculation about what type of animal they found was running high in 3C today! On Friday we dissected pellets virtually, so the kids were already familiar with what they might find.
